Self-Esteem

Self-esteem is best defined by how we feel about ourselves.
Self-confidence, self-respect, and the estimation of our role in various contexts are some of the ways in which self-esteem is developed. Mental health plays a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of self-esteem. Poor self-esteem has been correlated with depression, pervasive anxiety, self-doubt, poor relationships, and low occupational satisfaction. Individual therapy helps an individual raise self-awareness and develop tools to improve self-confidence and the ability to effectively adapt to new situations and experiences.
